Hearing What Isn’t Said – Hometown Cha Cha Cha Episode 12

Beep, CC, and special guest Toni Maggio dive deep into episode twelve of Netflix kdrama worldwide hit Hometown Cha Cha Cha starring Shin Min-a and Kim Seon-ho.

An inspiration for Chief Hong’s character, Henry David Thoreau, wrote that “[w]e communicate like the burrows of foxes, in silence and darkness, underground. We are undermined by faith and love.” Writer Shin Ha-eun and director Yu Je-won explore the challenge of engaging in honest communication as the residents of Gongjin discover that they are as much mysteries to themselves as each other.
